Press Reviews
The warehouse sessions was produced by ATY, mixed and mastered by Wayne Toth, with the material recorded off the floor at the band's rehearsal space. This EP brings with it an honest rock sound that will instantly grab the listener with its biting guitar sounds, straighforward rhythms and simple arrangments. It is a very live sound that comes across on the album and gives hints of a high energy, groove-ridden performance. The drummer uses the cymbals to add some nice colours and seems to know what a light touch can add to a song. The singer comes across as straight forward and honest with a grit to the voice that suits the music well, while the guitars seem to really carry this group in its musical directions. The gritty sounds of the distorted rhythm guitar are layered with some tasty lead lines and bass licks. On whole, a very tasty treat has been served up at the Warehouse! |
