Artist History
Originally formed as an acoustic duo, Seattle music scene veterans Stephanie Wicker and JDWood soon decided it was time to plug in and rock. Wicker recruited her former bandmate Scott McHugh for the drum throne and hit the studio to drop their first record before the band was 6 months old. The rest is history. |

Press Reviews
"Acetylene's debut album is hardly a debut experience when listening. This band not only has seasoned professionals at the helm but also a new spirit of songwriting and control over the sounds that come out of this CD. This release is a sign of great things to come from Acetylene, it's catchy, at times emotional and always original from start to finish."
