Artist History
originaly hailing from Pittenweem, Fife in Scotland 3 freinds (Cal, Rye & Steve)decided to put the frustration and bordom of living in a small village to good use by venting all of their energy into music, they recruted a bass player (jack) from another town and started playing gigs all over Scotland, after a couple of lineup changes (bye bye Jack, Hello gary) then (bye bye Steve, Hello gary on guitar) and then (hello Davey on bass) and then (bye bye Davey, hello Temp bass players!! mainly Scott, thanx!) (bye bye temp bass players hello Damo!)
they eventually felt complete! Slaphappy has established itself in the Scottish scene and although they are still unsigned they are regularly supporting many of of the signed touring English bands and have also supported svereal bands from overseas including bands from the U.S and Canada. After the release of their first self titled E.p which recieved a lot of good review they decided to work a lot harder and are now starting to acheive a faster more technical sound, they are currently working on new material to take into the studio later this year. |
