Artist History
Loud and fast punk rock thrashers from West Wales in the UK. Formed in 1979 and with
a number of releases on various labels in the early to mid 80's. Welsh Anti Nuclear Alliance battle of the bands winners in 1983.
The band have now reformed properly in 2003 and have a new album out - a LIVE recording with new studio tracks. This is available on RETCH RECORDS and via LOCOZ.COM.
The original line up was formed in 1979 in school in Haverfordwest. Since then a few changes have been made. The first compilation the band appeared on DEMOLITION
BLUE with a track called GETHA ROX OFF featured guitarist Rob Folland. All other vinyl with the exception of TRY WITH A LITTLE HELP which again featured Rob saw Mark Bozier as the guitarist. Mark died at the age of 26 in 1990.
You will see on these pages some further PFS historu and vinyl recordings but the definitive collection should include.
1. DEMOLITON BLUES ( insane records ) - 1982, track Getcha Rox off
2. IM GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME ( so so records ) - 1984, single three tracks including SABOTAGE THE CLASSES AND FUR QUEUE
3. THE HAND OF THE RIDER ( Rot records / PFS records ) Album - 1985, trail blazing punk rock with all the classics on it.
4. A KICK UP THE ARSE ( Rot Records ) Un mixed tracks White Light and My mate sulphate feature on this classic punk comp with EXTERNAL MENACE, REALITY AND BUTCHER.
5. TRY WITH A LITTLE HELP ( PFS records ) - 1987, single, three tracks, totally mad in concept, ripped off and packaged after a massive row with Michael Jackson who owner the songs publishing rights.
6. WHAT'S THAT HARDCORE NOISE ? - Retch Records 2003, LIVE and studio tracks, excellent quality. Release in June 2003 also from LOCOZ.COM |
