Artist History On the night of October 5, 2002 a fateful meeting took place. Rex Smith shook hands with Kevin Coppola, and the rest, they say is history. The two got to talking and found out they both played instruments, Rex played bass and Kevin played guitar, and shared their love of Ska music. When they agreed to start a band, Kevin knew just who to call: Chelsea Marcum- the greatest saxophone player in a 10 mile radius. The first day of practice, Kevin had to find a drummer; he looked no further than James Alvarez. Kevin also fielded the talents of Brent Phillips, but after a few shaky practices, Rex called on his old pal Eric Friedrich. The band has been playing together ever since and is always looking for a gig to play.
