Artist History
Foster Project was started by San Antonio's smoking gun, Dan Foster in 2002 with Axeman, Cat Villareal after Dan leaving Bone Heavy. After writing together for 7 months they brought in Bassist extrordinair, Tim Gee to give the Project punch and groove. Tim also contibuted to the writing which evolved the already intense rythems of Cat. With Dan now driving the music with his thundering on drums the Project was only lacking a vocalist. After auditioning vocalist for 2 months they responded to an ad April 2003 in the Edge Magazine posted by Mike Lambert. His audition was an eye opener. Never before had Foster Project heard their music behind such a melodic and powerful style. That was the day the band saw the dynamics of the Project. The formula that created Foster Project was complete and now a living force to be reckoned with. |
