Artist History
patientZero started on the local scene a few years ago seeping its unique music form all the way.
The style dips into a bluesy progressive feel, to a rock/indie/ progressive approach.
The aim of the band is to introduce a new genre of music uniquely its own.
The name patient zero is a term that is given to a person that first contracts a disease or is the first to undergo a new treatment.
Thus, the band patientZero wants to spread its musical disease (our musical style) around to the masses.
The beginnings of patientZero started in 1998 at Badin High school. Chris Sarvak (Guitar/Lead Vocals) and Jay Ehrnschwender (Bass/Vocals) played in a band together called the Mental Midgets.
After receiving 2nd place in the Bogart's challenge (1998) the Mental Midgets broke up. Around 2000, Chris decided to form another band. He called upon Jay (who happened to go the same college as him - Mount Saint Joseph) and also met up with Joe Hollon (Keys/Guitar/Vocals) to form a new entity. The three immediately grew personally and musically close.
patientZero was formed. patientZero started to play around town for the next few years but kept on having to regroup because it lost many members along the way.
Currently (2003) patientZero is looking for a percussionist. If you wish to try out, contact Chris at pzmusic@hotmail.com
