Artist description
Welcome to the apocalyptic vocal stylings of Katiana Pariah.
With a backing score comprised of pulsing electronica and
weeping string sections,
she sings us a lullaby that lingers long after the lights flicker.
Her delicate inflections conceal a muscular style
that is truly chilling to experience. |

Press Reviews
Her voice is raw and drips with real emotion,
about as much as can come out of pipes choked with passion.
She flexes and the notes soar above our heads and crash like waves.
She soothes and suddenly everything will be all right.
She sings to us with the voice we hear inside our own heads,
her melodies twist around our hearts like snakes, infectious, venomous, and eternal.
In her current incarnation she is the sultry seductress, beckoning the listener into a smoke filled Shangri-La,
to swim in the blood red wine that pours from her like Light.
She is the darker Diva for those that are done with bubble gum and banalities. Her pop may not be their pop, but heartache and heresy will always be “in”, and the poets will always record the human struggle.
Katiana Pariah is the embodiment of the singer/songwriter as Artist, and her potential is without limit. |
