Artist History GROUND is a Power House rock band from Dallas, Texas. Although the conception of GROUND originated in late 1997, this line up was solidified in Sept. 2001.The current members have all worked together in other projects over the last few years. This experience as individuals allowed GROUND to solidify very quickly as a team. GROUND combines a catchy / melodic approach to songwriting with a POWERFUL & INTENSE live show!

Shannon & band mates Christopher Ryle (vocals), Billy Kovacsy (bass) and Cameron White (drums) combine radio-ready hard rock with a hint of progression (was that a Dream Theater motif I heard?) for a unique sound. Since '98, boy bands, teenie boppers, rap rockers (i.e. Limp Bizkit), and skater rockers (i.e. Good Charlotte) took over, and those of us who liked our rock to sound like rock dusted off old CD's and sat in the closet with the lights out, vowing never to leave unless Rock no longer sucked. This CD is ROCK, nothing more, nothing less, and that's why I love it. To you pale-skinned, malnourished, stinky closet-dwellers out there, I am declaring an all clear. GROUND is here, and they're bring rock with them. Jay, Billy, Cameron and Christopher have nothing but potential for future success, and I hope those outside of DFW and San Antonio get a chance to listen to Rock as it was intended to be.
