Artist description
From the rough and tumble streets of Philadelphia,
Tidewater Grain have emerged on the scene with a
new album and a fresh attitude. Here on the Outside
(Warner Bros.) is basic, hard-hitting rock 'n' roll.
No punches, no frills and no whining. Unlike many
of modern rock radio darlings, Tidewater Grain don't
wear masks and matching jump suits, rap, or employ a
DJ to grab attention at their live shows. They don't
need one. It is on the reputation of their frenzied
live performances that Tidewater have played with acts
as diverse as Sevendust, Three Doors Down, Kid Rock,
Gwar, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock
and now Alice Cooper.
Here on the Outside (Ruffnation/Warner), Tidewater
Grain's debut album released February 12th, 2001,
is chock full of energetic, anthemic rockers like
the title track, and reflective power ballads
like "Rocketship."
Featuring frontman Kevin McNamara, guitarist John Daly,
bassist Dave Fritz and drummer James Billington, Tidewater Grain
serve more than just a dose of down 'n' dirty rock 'n' roll.
