Artist History
For close to a year now, Inch and Three Quarters has been writing music that uplifts (you off your seat), and makes you want to shake the rump. "IaTQ" decided to take a break from all of the screaming, and heavy brian shaking music of today, and write songs that people can groove to. "It's not hard to listen to them, you just sit there, and remember things, happy things!"- someone from a live sold out show. "IaTQ" have endured the trials of all bands, trying to find pieces to the puzzle that not only fit, but sound good together. Justin, Kevin, Will, and Jimmie are the end product of finding those puzzle pieces. None are classicaly trained, and none are masters of thier craft. "That's all details!" says lead singer Jimmie. "No one goes to a concert to listen to the chord progressions, or to listen for proper changes in the timing, changes or anything like that. People like to listen to the music. If it sounds good, I don't see what the problem is." In "Jam Song" the opening line is "If it's music that you want, you'll be glad you stuck around!" It's true! Even if you go to see another band, a heavier band, and "IaTQ" are there... you'll definatally feel your head bobbin, and the urge to dance! Four dudes from SLC,that have fun at what they do, and help people to have fun as well. So sit back, relax, and enjoy you musical ride! |
