    Artist description
Born in Hull QC, Canada, Martin b Paul (aka Martin paul Beaulieu, aka Georges Ebb) is a Montreal based artist/producer/composer/bass player.
    Artist History
In 1985, he formed his first alternative rock band, Bola Soup, alongside guitarist Martin Rheault and drummer Eric Williams. Bola Soup was a pre-teenage mixture of dark distorted guitars, punk influenced vocals and raw linear drum and bass. In 1987, Martin met guitarist Ariel Roberge, who played in a garage band called The Pickle Heads, and was invited to join the band as a bass player. Richard Rutherford played the drums, and a guy called Bruno tortured the microphone, until Ariel invited his childhood friend, Uranian Glory Valceanu, to save the mic. In 1989, the band changed it's name to Seven Deadly Sins, and welcomed their fifth member, Joseph Roberge, who took on the synths and samplers. The Sins played and sang together for seven years, made three demos and a mini LP, and then started to fall apart. Things were a bit blurry for everyone at that stage, and around 1993, the band dissolved. Richard started a new project called Lili Fatale, with singer/songwriter Nathalie Courchesne, and they soon invited Martin, who at that stage had perfected a new style of composing with samplers, synth and midi programming. Influenced by the early nineties rave culture, the new born wizard helped them build a new sound. Their first album "CK80296", wich included a hit called "Mimi", was released in 1997 under the Sony flag. In 1998, Martin decided to go solo with his career. Heading towards a producer role, he worked with different artists, singers and songwriters. His most important project, Zero K (0K), with singer/songwriter Leyla Tschongo, has not yet been released. Other projects include his own compositions, scores and many more, wich can be heard on Martin b Paul's official web site at www.martinpaulbeaulieu.com
