Artist History
Requiem was formed in 1990 by high school friends Chris Behrens, Gary Drumm, Matt Edwards, John Good, Guy Huggins, and Guy Rourk (Now a Fuzzy Duck Records solo artist!).
In August of 1990 Requiem recorded their first full length cassette, "Masks" and released it under their own label. After substatial promotion, the band was picked up by Pristine Records who release the hard driving title track and the song Beginning of the End to radio. The band's music quickly shot up the indie charts topping even some major label acts.
The band disbanded in 1994 due to "life changes", but the members are still extremely close friends and are currently working on a new album entitled "Rise Above" which is scheduled for release in 2003 or early 2004, so stay tuned! |
