traveller between the worlds of music: the 32 years old guy from Weimar, who is known to an audience of millions since playing on the Westernhagen-tour last year.
In Reutlingen he begins with a Vivaldi-Impression, sets contasts between the Baroque and the temperatein Rain he´s playing some Jazz-like Blue Notes.Classik, Pop, Rock, Minimal Music or Jazz - Huschke seems to beat home anywhere and is very wide-ranged in his palette of musical expressions.
Reutlinger Generalanzeiger 6/96
Delight when he´s let loose. For Wolfram Huschke, exzessive and empathic Cello Virtuose, jumps, no husch(kes) easily and full of pleasure beyond musical bordelines. In order to express experienced he stakes on emotions, condenses every days experiences o thrilling There is pain and pleasure in love-relations, all-daysituations and forces of society. Universal his humanmusicalcosmos, becaus all are a piece of the entire.
Hohenloher Zeitung 9/1996
Sometimes Wolfram Huschke is quite quiet, a calm, prudent interlocutor. When he took a resty bath , sitting in a solemn hotelroom somewhere in Germany, justresting without the cello in his hands. Actually it fits to his star-constellation: Lions are naturally lazy the 30year-old musician lets to know, but when they want to hunt... It´s the same with his performances. Then the apparently tame Huschke becomes a furie. An unforgettable evening. The classic-audience in Sindelfingen did not just hear perfect music while the performance of the Stuttgarter Kammerorchester in the Stadthalle. With the solists Wolfram Huschke (cello) and Markus Groh (piano) there were two young virtuoses on stage, who are prefigured the conquest of raging, bubbling concert-halls. It starts as if Huschke would sit somewhere outside at the fireplace, comfortly plucking in. But then he lets it squeal, squeak, scream, his foot stamps on the ground. The audience is far away, high, enthusiastic.
LUK 18.10.1995
cause just from the way he
looks Huschke doesn´t meet the expectation one has in classical
musicians. Instead of the expected wild, long hair he weares bald head
and an everlasting crocodile-grin from ear to ear. He likes to talk, is
everybodys darling, more then ever since Marius Müller-Westernhagens
Affentour last year. There he was the first classical musician
in a pre-programm of a rock concert and even banished the grand master
in the second row sometimes.
