Artist History When the talk of Casey's band, Three's Too Many, breaking up started he knew that he would like continue music after the band's demise. He didn't really have the option of starting another band because he would be moving to college soon and then that band would have to break up too so he decided the best thing would be to go solo. He didn't really want to go by his own name so he came up with foreverDOWN. foreverDOWN came from some hard times Casey was experiencing. "It's mostly just a reminder of how things can seem like they are never going to get better but somehow they always manage to work out as long as we keep focused on the things that truly matter most," said Casey. Casey is accustomed to playing shows in front of people, but "Playing in front of people alone is a little different than fronting a rock band. If I mess up playing solo I can't blame it on anyone else," Casey joked. Although the solo route is a little different for Casey, he is proving he was made for it. In fact, Casey played his first solo show at Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL in front of several hundred people and went through everything flawlessly. foreverDOWN's first release is titled "You are Beautiful," and was released independently in August of 03. "Casey is very talented and takes what he writes very seriously. With every word and phrase he seems to tie in a bit of his life that people can relate too, and that's what makes his music so good and refreshing to hear," said one fan. The EP features 5 songs including "Like a Dream" and "Should I be the First." Casey is anxious to see what the future holds for foreverDOWN and he will continue to play in Three's Too Many as long as they're together. So if you don't mind having foreverDOWN melodies stuck in your head for days, pick up a copy of "You Are Beautiful."
