    Artist History
So it's like this. I (Milli) started playing bass over the summer of 2001. I wanted to start a band, so I went off trying to recruit members. I had found a guitarist and was off looking for a drummer. Through some younger kids in my school, I found JohnVon, who would turn out to be a very good drummer. I went over to his house and practiced with him once or twice, but it turned out that my supposed guitarist wasn't really that interested in being in a band. He bailed before we ever got to play together. So, now we had a bassist and a drummer. The guitarist search had to begin. Luckily, it only took one day for it all to come together. Cuzzo was in my History, English, and Latin & Greek classes, and through that I knew he played guitar and liked good music. I asked if he was interested in being in a band, and he was. Moving on to sixth period. Kelli sits next to me in Chemistry class. She's played guitar for a while, but just recently bought a bass because she wants to be a bass player. I tell her that she doesn't want to play bass. She wants to play guitar in my band with Cuzzo and John. Complete coincidence that she's actually good friends with Cuzzo...and she knows John but isn't exactly the best of friends with him. We ignore that, and decide to try out our lineup. After serious vocal auditions between me, Cuzzo, and Kelli, we declared Kelli the best vocalist and she took control of that department. It worked nicely. We started writing songs, playing in John's garage/basement for several months. There was some obvious tension mounting between Kelli and John, but we were trying to get by with it anyway. It didn't work. May 2002, John leaves the band due to some conflicts and problems we really coudln't have resolved (John has since joined a new band, and we wish him luck). Summer stars, and we've got no drummer. It didn't hold us back though. We moved everything to Kelli's house and spent an entire summer writing and recording demos of our material. To our surprise, people actually seemed to really like it, and were taking us seriously as a band. We started wanting to do shows, but we knew that we needed a drummer to do that. We had found one other drummer, but he didn't work out either, and we only got to practice with him once or twice. School started again, and we knew that we needed a drummer desperately. We found Danny Barry, who was in my Music Theory class. He was only a freshman, and we were Juniors, but he turned out to be a very cool kid who was an excellent drummer. We joined up with him and wasted no time in booking ourselves a show. It only took two or three practices for him to learn enough songs to play a set at the local band showcase. We got an amazing response there, and we now plan on doing many more shows and getting as big as we can. And that brings us to today. What a long and boring history, huh?
