Artist description
Sydonia's sound is both pleasurably smooth and brutally bombastic. Whispered, angelic vocals and dreamy melodies often morph into heavy assaults or something altogether different. Songs of lost loves to songs for lost worlds. |

Artist History
Sydonia are an independent, self-managed, original 4-peace band. They have been playing together for 7years, the first 4 on the Sunshine Coast then Brisbane for a year, now here in Melbourne to stay. Over this time, they have developed their own unique sound and have become very cohesive. Sydonia have a very compeling stage presence performing every gig as if it were their last. |

Press Reviews
Sydonia brought down the lights for a slow
building intro. They were the heaviest and
prettiest band of the night. Sydonia sounded
like Nirvana in the way of guitar and looking
like The Urge’s Kato Nash, did a sterling job
rocking the stage. With elements of pop, very
melodic vocals, great rhythm section and a
quirky side of heavy they moved the audience
to dance and jive up the front. The vibe was
good |
