Artist description
Meat Goat was formed in the Spring of `02 from the rubble of many bands stemming from
the Dallas/Ft.Worth area of North Texas. Brought together by their passion for Industrial
Music, Meat Goat has shunned conventional means of plying their craft. Without the aid
of sequencers and tapped fillers they have created a Neo-Industrial art form of free
flowing improvisation. Driven by maddening tribal beats and deep dark textures of
electronic sounds, layered with sonic chaotic guitars they seek to follow the foot steps of
early Industrial great’s yet bring something new to the table. This has given them a
defining sound. Topping off this sound is their penchant for provocative lyrical burst of
love, hate, and anger, that the tormented side of human nature cannot resist. This is Meat
Goat, a sacrificial vessel of Sonic Mayhem. Both artistic and heavy yet with a sense of
purpose. Their act is capable of compelling audiences to both fits of frenzy and interludes
of rhythmic unity Fans from across the Globe had this to say recently after downloading
one of there songs. Isaac Hunt from England, 5/8/2002 “This is whacked and very original.
Excellent stuff (I just played it again and it is out there). Shit hot!. Hope the gig goes well. If I was
over there I would come on down and check you guys out................Keep it up” And that We
Will! For something that feels so familiar yet has such a distinctive new feel to it
MEAT GOAT is a must!

Press Reviews
i wanna know where exactly you're getting this
free lemonade... eh? Man this is hard to categorize
in my book... Very industrial, almost a
Hip-hop feel, but those vocals are unmistakabley
Industrial... some of the best processed
vocals i've heard, seriously. you've achieved
exactly the kind of sound with your vocals
that i've been looking for for way too long.
