Artist History
Born during the Carter administration, Umami remembers a time when sensible people ruled the world, when a movie playing before 6pm was a matinee, and when telephones had rotary dials. Umami's fascination with machine sounds began as a small child when his parents would sit him on top of the washing machine to keep it from moving during the spin cycle. |
