Artist History
In the middle months of 2002, two punks collaborated and began the process of writing songs and guitar lines for what would soon become Through Being Cool. Eager to complete what they had started, they ventured out to find two more members. Soon after a drummer came along and added a beat to the guitars, also bringing along a bassist to fill out the sound. All from different ends of Toronto, and all adding their different sound, the band was born. From Mississauga came the power punch. The Annex brought faster paced strings. Head-bouncing rhythm was carried in from Scarborough. North York added its kick in the teeth with hardcore roots. Now able and willing to take on the city by storm, Through Being Cool, armed only with their original punk sounds, are pissed off and ready to stick it to anyone who will listen. |
