Artist History I was born in utah my parents were in the airforce so I moved around a lot, I went to grade school in maine,and then middle school in a small town called lake charles la,were I learned to rap,and was exsposed to the ghetto and the streets. At 12 my parents split up and I stayed with my mother in her home town lake charles la. Because of my run ins with the police, my mother sunt me to stay with my father,were I learned to make beats and perform at various clubs,chuches skating rings ect. At the age of 17 I joined the military were I bought the gear I needed and obtained the Knowlege to make and create songs at 21 I was disharged from the military and decided to further persue my music carear,it took 3 long years of street hustle back in lake charles la, then I made contact with a guy named "d"from trinity garden cartel in Houston Tx this is the first time I got a taste of the actual music buisness doing shows promoting,making,and selling beats, and going to radio stations. In 1999 D was arrested, the crew collaspsed, and I eventualy moved to California were I began persuing this buisness on a perfessional level. I have been here now for 3 1/2 years, and this is my first independent album. Revelations by King jaymes.
