Artist description
Chehalis is a native American word for "sand" in the
Chehalis river in the Pacific Northwest. Like the sand
that drifts with and is shaped by the river, Chehalis
flows down the path between musical genres, blending them
seamlessly. Unpredictable, experimental, exploratory. Our
music is about searching the nooks and crannies between
musical categories, a process that corporate music has basically
discouraged. If you can't figure out what kind of music
this is, then rest assured that we can't either! |

Artist History
Chehalis is and has been many things: and acoustic duet,
a progressive rock ensemble, solo electronic excursions, and
a freewheeling, improvisational space blues band. In the
coming years, it will probably mutate again into who knows what. |
