Artist description
Steppin' In It is a tight acoustic quartet with hearts based in tradition and minds forever moving in creative directions. The combination of multi-instrumentalists Andy and Joe Wilson, interstate bassist Dominic Suchyta and singer/songwriter Joshua Davis is a rootsy roller coaster ride of original and traditional music. The band played all over Michigan last year including the Hiawatha, Wheatland and Bliss folk music festivals, and plans to tour regionally in the near future. Steppin' In It is currently working on a follow-up to their successful debut CD, Children Take Your Shoes Off. Playing everything from bluegrass to blues, calypso to cajun, woeful waltzes to western swing, Steppin' In It is an enchanting grab bag of roots music. |
