Artist description
This CD contains songs inspired by authentic, traditional alien music translated from ancient texts found carved into a meteorite which landed in the back yard of Gil Bates in Juno, Alaska in 1965. Believed to be traditional drinking songs and church hymns that have been performed for thousands of years by aliens living on the planet Galena, only recently have the texts been 'released' and transcribed into musical notation.
The SoundRangers have performed live improvisational interpretations of these alien songs and captured it for your listening pleasure.
