Artist description
Since their 1995 inception, One Finger Salute has amassed a respectable and sizable following in the southeastern US with their brand of hard-edged, harmony-laden rock along with their absolutely insane live show. They have left countless venues roofless, and opened for national acts such as The Urge, 8 Stops 7, UPO, and Finger 11. That, along with the aid of the Internet has enabled One Finger Salute to encompass the world, reaching out to gather mass mailing list membership and CD sales in Europe, Asia, and Australia. Those CDs include 1997's six-song EP "Hatest Grits" and 1998's full length LP "When Harry Met Satan". Even without the benefit of worldwide distribution, sales of these records have reached 5,000 and counting with the help of mp3.com and venue sales. In September of 2000, One Finger Salute released their third CD entitled "Blood Sweat and Beers" and is sure to exceed that figure. That, coupled with extensive touring throughout the southeast is sure to bring further success for OFS in 2001 so come on in and see what YOU may be missing out on!MEMBER HISTORY |
