    Press Reviews
Electric Catfish "Slip Away" is a jamming tune that makes me want to go see these guys live. This is cool rock. Nice performance by everyone in the band. I really enjoyed this tune. ~Buttermilk Platform~“Slip Away sounds genuinely different, a bit like Stray Cats having Van Halen over for tea and whatnot.”MICHAEL BECK .................................. "Cool guitars, the lead player has some nice chops. That cheezy organ sound is fantastic , I love it."-JAMFREE-...................- Zeeza posted 09-18-2000 08:47 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bi-Polar Maddness is so cool.ooo I can almost feel that wind slipping under my door.Nice sound, love the hip 70s feel to it. I like it------------------------------------------Slip Away is mysterious sounding, I felt myself climbing up stairs and looking for my soul that had run away.cool. ZEEZA ..................Robert Jansen posted 09-18-2000 09:21 PM --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Bi-Polar Maddness,Very nice. Easy going (leaning towards Celtic) rock. Smooth intro. The changes at 2:45 were unexpected and as you say: "it's a freakin' adventure". Very nice work......Robert.................................. I'm digging Slip Away by Electric Catfish. Wild. In fact, very wild. At first I thought it was gonna be kind of a surf thing, then it sounded like a guitar aria from a Television (the great proto-punk band not the vapid medium) song. And then the singer came in and I wasn't sure what to think... Very, very American. In a very good way. I see you're from Seattle (I had to check to see if you were, indeed, American), I'll have to tell my Seattleite pals about y'all...........Blue 2 Blue...................................................
