Artist History
Chopcore was formed in 1998 by founding members George Murphy, Rich Cusato and Jim Cawood. They later added the aggressive vocals of former Mortal Decay head growler John Paoline. In September of 1999 they added the "flavor crystals" of guitarist Brian Keeley. After the usual artistic differences, George Murphy left the band in late 1999. Chopcore has since opened up for Pro-Pain and DRI at The Trocodaro in South Philadelphia. They have also opened for Internal Bleeding, Mastermind and the list keeps growing. January 2001 marks the release of their second demo, F**k That Noise. |
