Artist description
Chaotic Impulse is straight out of Poughkeepsie, NY, bringing with it a unique musical sound that defies categories. Blending a number of influences including metal, tribal drums, punk and hardcore, the band produces a powerful sound that doesn't quite fit in with any of the scenes. But one thing is for sure- they bring a new intense heavy style to the scenes, and will definatly be a band to reckon with in the future. |

Artist History
Chaotic Impulse has gone through a lot of changes since it's conception. However, the direction and style of the band remains constant. The band was originally formed in late 1997 when three students at Marist College got together and began jamming. They started writing really heavy, powerful songs that got great responses from everyone that heard them, and decided to bring the chaos to the world. They played a series of shows all over NY that got great responses from everyone, an a lot of interest from all over the country. Since then, CI has lost some members, and gained a few more. With each new member a new infulence gets added to the band, although there is one thing that remains constant: their dedication to an intense, heavy, tribal sound. The new Chaotic Impulse is tighter and heavier than ever... showing the world the true meaning of Y2CHAOS... |
