Artist History
During the late 60's and early 70's, Jerry Buckner and Gary Garcia played in various rock groups throughout the Akron/Cleveland, Ohio area. In the late 70's they moved to Atlanta, GA where they wrote and recorded original songs in-between producing commercial jingles for radio and television. In the fall of 1981, after spending too many quarters and too much time on the video game Pac Man, they decided to write a song about it. That song, "Pac Man Fever" and the album that followed was one of the biggest sellers of 1982 and is now considered a classic. Jerry and Gary continue to perform with their band around the country. |
