Artist History
Formerly the Pheromones, the Bus, dot Fash, Voodoo Death Gods, and finally the Numb Ones. All original members.
Out of the bowels of Ft. Lauderdale come the Numb Ones, a four-piece musical entity that has in one form or another been a mainstay on the South Florida music scene for the last five years. Their current incarnation is a glow-in-the-dark reminiscence of the era when Fugazi and the Pixies ruled the underground. A sound also seeming so fresh as to be compared to the likes of QOTSA, Foo Fighters, and PJ Harvey. Intense, driving, explosive songs filled with one part chant, one part hook, and one part psycho-rhythm are becoming a signature all their own.
As the Numb Ones prepare to take on the world with their brand of musical mayhem, we are reminded of a time when music mattered. A time when innocence was crushed by the rebellious screams of thousands of die-hard fans.
The Numb Ones are currently recording their debut EP, Sins and Needles, and booking shows in the Southeastern US.
