Artist History
Earl Scrivener and Dexter Jimmy Shanks
have been writing and recording songs together
since 1982. Scrivener was the driving force behind
'Torn Hearts' and Shanks was the shy guitar
powerhouse that made 'The Second Hand Seekers'
such a sought after live act. They joined forces
with ex-'Nashvillains' lead singer, Connie Kincaid
in the summer of 2001 and the 'Mechanics of
Sorrow'were born. Their debut album 'Sad Seeds
Grow Sadder Flowers' is due for release on Rooftop
Records in November 2003. Watch this space! |
