Artist description
Where pristine wilderness isolates unusual
personalities, The Joint Chiefs were born. Best
friends since the age of eight, this band is a
brotherhood which none can put asunder. The Joint
Chiefs are proud to mark their debut with the release
of “High & Mighty.”
“High & Mighty” is exciting and furious music
highlighted by duelling, dynamic vocals with
intelligent, articulate lyrics. The arrangements
feature fast, filling percussion; prominent, growling
bass and thick, intense riffery with mad leads. The
Chiefs aim to instil a message of empowerment and
activism through their music, encouraging each other to
challenge a society which is ignoring its youth.
“Question everything.” -Arlo, Bass/Vocals
“Educate your answers.” -Denton, Guitar/Vocals
“Where’s my wine?” -Wigs, Percussion
Pharmaceutical Solutions. Cable & Print Media
Conglomerates. Factory Farming. Stocks & Currency
Markets. Violent Peace Officers. Religious Dogma.
Sheesh! Growing up within the New World Order
requires a sense of humour to remain sane! The Joint
Chiefs performances are an extremely energetic and
positively cathartic experience. Audience members are
compelled to participate by means of unceasing
headbanging, hairswinging, booze swilling, funny banter
and run-around madness by way of wireless guitar and
bass rigs.
The Joint Chiefs are on tour in March and April
throughout Western Canada in support for “High &
Mighty.”
