Artist History
Dave and John first began in 1994 with "The Blacklisted", when John could not play drums at all. After years of different bands, John and Steve both played in Troma Kids, and Steve came from Adam's Alcoholics. In the meantime, Dave played in Pop Action Squad which was way too political. Peace out. |

Press Reviews
"...(In Albuquerque) there's a bunch of damn good bands. Simulacrum being one of them. I finally received the trio's five-song self-titled demo and I'm--you guessed it--overwhelmed by it's ability to turn a rhythmic pattern on a dime. Often throwing out time signatures that would make Ornette Coleman's head spin, the group strays far enough from the typical indie/emo sound that they've carved out their own little niche or subgenre in the local scene." - Kevin Hopper - The Albuquerque Journal |
