Press Reviews
Amor Sin Dudas takes us into the realm of Latin Easy Listening - and it's a very nice non-intrusive introduction to it as well.
The guitarist played with skill, and the sound quality of the instrument itself was very nice. I noticed that the bass used in this song was a fretless bass. Nice touch. The bass and the guitarist played very well together. The violin solo was definitely a highlight in the song. It was played with skill and feeling.
The vocals were very nice. The harmonies framed each other and the song quite well. The lead singer has a rich and resonant voice that sang with feeling and style.
The only issue with this song was the change of speed about two thirds of the way into it. At 2:28, the tempo changed in a somewhat jarring way. And the return to the original tempo was equally as jarring. That part could have been done better in my opinion.
Other than that, there's nothing here that would drive a listener away from the song. It's decent, and technically done well. In my opinion this song is worth a listen. Definitely Guy Roark has some promise as a Latin musician.
