Artist History
Gabriel and Simon met whilst working in a bar together, back in 1998. They quickly developed a strong bond between them, based on their love of music and brandy.
They had both played in bands before, but had gone a long time without playing. They set out to begin a new band. They started writing songs in a small basement, and slowly developed a duo called Hostile 17.
They played various acoustic gigs around Reading, England, before others joined in. The new collection was known as R.O.U.S.
As time went on the band slowly fell apart, making way for a new band, Newark Street.
With the new group, they decided to tour the French Alps during the winter, however, all went wrong as various members had their doubts. They never made passed the English border.
Eventually, the band drifted into oblivion and the members went their seperate ways.
Simon spent four months of recording on his own, until he and Gabs decided to regroup, and start fresh.
And thus Five Days One Summer was born.....
The band is currently looking for a singer, drummer and guitarist. |
