Press Reviews Consign - "All Heroes Lost" demo My first impression of this demo is "Fuck, this sounds good!" Consign is a band that just started this year and is comprised of members ranging in age from 15-17 who all live in the East Bay Area. They play metalcore that has tons of breakdowns and even some blast beats. The vocals for the most part and high pitch screams but there is an occasional death metal growl thrown in from time to time. I'd compare this to the Dillenger Escape Plan and other bands like them. This isn't the most original release but it certainly kicks a lot of ass. Most of the songs, although quite technical, follow a similar pattern and sound. The one standout track I think is the last one, "Can Kill In One Feeding", which starts out a little more melodic in a bit of a Shai Hulud way. Consign plays the type of metalcore that could get just about anyone moving at a show. These are definitely a group of kids to look out for. - Calihardcore.com
