Artist description
GOBLIN MARKET, titled after the nineteenth century poem attributed to Christina Rossetti, came into being during 2001. GOBLIN MARKET comprise former LIQUID FEVER singer Katla, ex-MISIRLOU and JPG guitarist Trout, former CRAWL OVER TIME and JPG bassist Basik and the DEBITELZ credited Ringo on the drums. Musically the band, which has retained a stable line up, is a courageous mixture of many styles with psychological, deep lyrics interwoven with fascinating music. GOBLIN MARKET somehow manage to conjure up a unique brand of music which is both melodious and disharmonic at the same time, agressive and mild.
A familiar force on the Polish live circuit GOBLIN MARKET issued the demos 'Who Stole the Tarts?' and 'Goblinitelive' during 2002, followed up by the 'Hektor Lektor' promotional release in March of 2003.
