Fascinated by the world of Electronica, I have fused all of my favorite styles of music together to create the music of DJ-Licious; Techno, Drum n Bass, Down Tempo, etc. I love all cultures of the world and their exotic intstruments and mix those with ethreal and spacey textures. |

Artist History
About three years ago I got the mtv generator for my pc and started coming up with some stuff. Me being a singer/guitarist in a metal band I found a different output to music and started creating music on my own. I took it serious and wanted to start a little side project to get away from the throes of playing metal/hard rock live. I started really getting into electronica about six years ago. Listening to bands like Lords of Acid, Hooverphonic, Bjork, Roni Size and others I started branching out to other types of music. DJ-Licious actually started as a joke when some friends were messing with me about my music. So I jokingly said "yeah, I'll be DJ-Licious, spinning Lords of Acid at a senior citizen anniversary party" The name kinda stuck. Now, as a serious side project, I am in the process of building up my equipment list with a nice keyboard/synth,mixing programs, and exotic instruments that I will learn how to play myself so I can take DJ-Licious to the next level and create good catchy music for you. |
