Artist History In August 2001, ex drummer of Hammerfall, Patrik Rafling and his brother Alex started a Heavy Metal band that they decided to call Jaggernaut. After finding the right people for the rest of the band and hours of rehearsing, Jaggernaut recorded 2 tracks with help from a friend and his computer. The songs were "Jaggernaut" and "Ironsword" and these songs were posted at the Music site "Vitaminic" The feedback was great. The songs were on the first places on the "Vitaminic" charts all over the world. Bands like Entombed, Pain and even Depeche Mode were among those who where behind on the charts. Jaggernaut contacted couple of record labels. The interest from the labels was big, but no interesting offer in Jaggernaut´s eyes were made. They went back to rehearsing with the goal to record a "promo" with better production. As some of the current members went forward other members stood still together. This became a problem for the rest of the band members and the result was that the bass player Christoffer O was kicked out of the band. Jaggernaut found a much better replacement in Tommy Larsson, who had the same energy and goals as the rest of the band. Shortly after, the singer Jimmy and Jaggernaut decided that his vocal skills were not good enough for Jaggernaut, so Jaggernaut were on a search for a new singer. Jaggernaut tried some singers but without any luck. Finally they asked Niclas Johnsson if he was interested to sing in Jaggernaut. They tried with him and Jaggernaut got its final puzzlepeice... The Music Jaggernaut´s goal with their music was always to perform the music with quality and glow, always finding new ways to perform the music on. The combination of classic Heavy Metal and modern riffs was the way Jaggernaut had chosen to perform its music. The Name Jaggernaut: a blind force that crushes everything in its path, a unstoppable force. There are several meanings in the vocabulary but to us it is a force that annihilate all the evil and pain in the world. JAGGERNAUT IS THE RULER OF THE WORLD !!! The Band When talking about Jaggernaut there´s no point in talking about every single members of the band. Jaggernaut is a concept that depends on idea that each member has a task to do its best.
