Artist description
Their songs are written in the singer/songwriter tradition, touching on the personal side of life. With topics ranging from self-discovery, challenges and joys - to homophobia, irony and the darker side of human nature, Afferent Cue attracts a varied audience. Vocally, Robynne delivers these songs with passion, her striking voice a combination of earthiness, sensuality and innocence. Bill's emotionally charged guitar playing and back-up vocals compliment her perfectly.
It is in live performance that "Afferent Cue" truly shines. Audiences find themselves drawn to the strong intimacy the couple shares which reaches beyond the stage straight into the heart of the listener. |

Press Reviews
One reviewer described their live performance in this way "...going to see "Afferent Cue" is like an adventure into the world of voyeurism - at times hilarious, at other times poignant...Bill and Robynne write what they know and it shows onstage - you can't help but be drawn in..." |
