Artist History
The Legendary Story of the Maladroits
passed on from generation to generation
First Dr. White and Tamina hooked up.
When they weren't making the bluegrass
they were perfecting genetically enhanced sons,
cromo-engineered to be bassist and keyboardist, respectively.
The next door neighbor and best friend became their Ringo.
Faithful manservant(s) recruited sometime later
and
like some modern-day surfin' Jonny Quest,
adventures ensue.
David Freeman - saxophone & flute
chucked his jazz-fusion teachings in favor
of sleazy wicked growling surf sax! YEAH!
Sky White - Piano & Organ,
leads his own weird teenage techno-funk group "LabJackets".
Sky's organ is so huge that he needs help lifting it.
Eli White - bassist, nationally ranked athlete & track star.
Stays silent during band arguments,
displaying rare intelligence.
Mad Professor Ron White, leads & plays lead in the band.
Prior to forming The MaladroitS, Ron was a seasoned bluegrass veteran,
and single-handedly sparked the amazing bluegrass-surf crossover popularity
currently taking America's seniors by storm!
Bryce MC Rhude, second guitarist,
was selected after an exhaustive nationwide
search from over fifty other auditioning guitarists,
including Pat Travers, Elliot Easton, Cal Collins, and Steve Howe.
Cheerleader if not leader of the late not-just-surf greats Doc & the Pods,
Bryce has been running Ho-Ho Records at a staggering loss since 1985.
Brett Davis - drummer, rocker, punk, former jr. olympian,
and the only pierced and tatooed band member |
