Artist description
The Rainy Day Felons, a long awaited venture, combining textural tones and rhythmic adventures are sure to please the ear. The band developed over 10 years ago, fine tuning their musical abilities as well as their own taste in music. The Rainy Day Felons diverse influences range from Janes Addiction, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, to The Police, each member bringing something a little different to the table.
Recently completing a five-song demo, the band has reached a new level in combining different styles of music into their repertoire, ranging from creative soulful jams to some serious in-the-pocket grooves. Melodic guitar riffs and a creative rhythm section combined with smooth vocals give the band a unique feel. The band gives an emotional music explosion throughout the demo, taking whoever is listening through a musical journey. The live performances are a breathtaking experience, hammering out a full two and a half hour set, consisting of solid originals and various covers, a great live performance.
While the band is searching for new territory, they have rained on a few towns already, winning two Battle-of-the-Bands, as well as playing in local clubs around Wilmington. They are ready to travel around to other towns in hopes of fulfilling their life long dream, creating fun music. Given their diversity, the band hopes to challenge the minds of listeners to appreciate all styles of music and intern be moved by every emotion that is associated with that style.
