Artist History
Dirty Sanchez was started in the bedroom of Kristin Medeiros in early November 2001. Kerrin and his friend Joe had went to Kristin's house to hang out or something and TJ (who had recently moved from Ohio to RI) was gonna be playing drums in her house w/ Kristin. Kerrin and Joe watched them play for a while & Kristin decided she was gonna take a break so she asked if Kerrin wanted to play guitar with TJ. He agreed and soon TJ & Kerrin were playing together quite nicely. Almost everyday afterschool, both would jam out for hours in Kristin's bedroom. They decided to form a band. That band was Dirty Sanchez. There was bass added by Brendan,(Kerrin's bro) and the 3 played a couple gigs that year. Later on, Kerrin left the band and soon after Dirty Sanchez disbanded. In the summer, the band was reformed. This time the line-up was Kerrin(lead guitar),TJ(drums), and a new member named Matt on rhythm. The 3 found themselves a rockin band, and soon they added a cool bass player by the name of Ben Ogni. The 4-piece punk band was soon practicing and playing shows. Later on, Ben was replaced by Abe. The band played in this lineup for the next month or so before Kerrin was kicked outta the band. Matt, TJ, and Abe played for about a month until they changed the name of the band. |
