Artist History Derek T Is from Michigan. He has lived in so many places in the state it is hard to say where he would consider home. His father was a professional musician and he started piano at an early age. In high school he played guitar for a group by the name Red Letter and played in several other garage bands throughout his high School years. In college he was the lead guitar player for the internationaly known band Without Excuse. Derek T Graduated from Central Michigan University in May of 2003 and is now working on his Career as a musician.
