Artist History Multi-instrumentalist Mario Ponce has been writing and recording music since the age of thirteen. He has been a member of a series of local bands throughout the (so.cal) south-bay area as a drummer, bass player, lead guitarist and singer. After years of recording various four track, eight track and twenty-four track projects, the groundwork was laid for a self-titled full legnth CD, "Grand Spark". He has gained distribution from east coast staple pop label Jam Records, and has been enjoying steady sales and exposure on CDbaby.com as well as regular airplay on Trouserelf.com. An Lp, Superba (working title) is scheduled for a fourth quarter release as well as a “sampler” cd exclusive to MP3.com which will include ten tracks from all GS releases (98’to 03”).
