Artist description
Fred is, was, and will always be too
eclectic for mainstream commercial success to be
easy.
His songs evoke the entire spectrum of human
emotion and experience.
Lyrically, his insights are the distillation
seemingly of a number of lifetimes rather than
just one.
So just what kind of box would be large enough
for all of that? |

Artist History
An anti-hero of heroic proportions, Fred was
for long inhibited commercially by an apparent
nonchalance regarding all things financial.
When his songs were written and recorded he
was done with them, moving on to the next without
looking back.
He seemed to need less approval by others than
most; so self fulfilled in the act of creation,
the approbation of others was less substance
than frill.
Only with the release on Twangtown Records in
2002 did he share with the world his own private
vision of all things bright, beautiful, and even
downright dark and ugly.
to the next. |
