Artist History
For about 3 years, Miles From Nowhere was simply a wish, a yearn for a band held back by one minor detail -no drummer. It started in the eighth grade when Chris and John met. Chris played keyboard, John played guitar, so they decided to start a band. In the beginning, they were desperate for a drummer. Everyone was asked, even Trevor Paskman, and everyone was unavailable. (Or snobbily refused in the case of Trevor). This went on for quite sometime. John was in many little side projects in the following three years while Chris began to learn guitar. Then, in eleventh grade, a drummer was found. This drummer was Brandon Davidow. With a drummer in place, Scott Kolhepp was chosen for vocals and bass, and That Band was born. Since then, the band has gone through many changes, including Robb at bass, and a new name, Miles From Nowhere. I'm sure there will still be more changes to come. But we're always dedicated to making quality music, and to never play punk or ska. This we promise. |
