Artist History
Formed at the start of 2002, the founding members, all previously from very active London underground bands which now had disbanded, came together with a common interest in a melodic style with dominant guitar driven tones. By the summer of that year it was obvious there was a strong chemistry between these members, several songs were chosen and recorded to demonstrate their talent in producing heavy rhythmic orientated music with a strong female presence and epic melodic edge. The band line-up, with an average age between early to mid twenties, was completed at the end of 2002. Finding members who shared the same creative vision coupled with determination and commitment had been no easy task. Serratia Calm began 2003 with much anticipated support slots around London. They continue to receive very favourable responses at each performance and are quickly establishing themselves as UK's finest female fronted melodic metal band injecting a new perspective and breath of life into the genre of extremely melodic powerful driven music. |

Press Reviews
“Folk tinged Metal that sort of falls in between many
genres without actually settling in any particular one. But Mickey has a
good strong voice that should bring the band plenty of attention. I was
impressed with all four songs” – Live4Metal.com (March 2003)
“Yes! I enjoyed listening to the demo. It did have a good melodic and song
Writing quality to it...” – Dead or Alive (April 2003)
