Artist description Schaffer the Darklord, or simply STD, is a terribly mysterious one-man act from the darkest depths of San Francisco. Combining black metal theatrics with stand-up comedy and hip hop virtuosity, STD’s genre-hopping act has led to his exile from the individual scenes of said genres. Hip hop thugs are terrified of his evil. Comedy clubs are disgusted by his rap songs. However, the rock and rollers seem to embrace his decadent portrayals of their world.
