Artist History Moist Vagina was formed in January 2003 when five like-minded metal heads decided to do something with musical interests. Coming from an engineering background, the band’s been through KTs, hostile parents and rented drum kits to get where they are. The first gig they did was in a rock competition "Stringed Sanity" at Sardar Patel College, which they won, Prasad winning the best vocalist, Vivek the best drummer and Rohan taking the best bassist title. Moist Vagina was among the top 4 bands at Unchained 2003, the rock competition at RAIT (Horizons) where about 25 bands from all over India participated. They finished runners up at PIT, a close call once again. Moist Vagina is known for their insane stage act and heavier-than-heavy originals. In their last show at RAIT (BE Farewell), Moist Vagina's set resulted in the following casualties amongs the crowd - a dislocated shoulder, a concussion, a hospitalised John Doe and a bleeding nose. As a parting shot, vocalist Prasad lobbed the mic stand off stage. The girl in the first row caught it - with her face.
